That’s why we decided to turn the traditional group course into something more.
Studium English Academy is a modern English learning programme that combines structured lessons, active speaking practice, contemporary learning materials and continuous contact with English throughout the week.
Our goal isn’t simply for you to complete another level.
Our goal is for you to actually start using English.
What is Studium English Academy?
Studium English Academy isn’t a traditional course where you open your textbook twice a week, complete a few grammar exercises and forget most of what you’ve learned by the next lesson.
Our programme is built around three key pillars:
LIVE CLASS
Twice a week × 75 minutes
Structured lessons with your teacher that allow you to progress systematically through your level.
During Live Classes, we work on:
- grammar in context
- active vocabulary and collocations
- listening and reading
- everyday communication
- practical application of what you’ve learned
- identifying and correcting common mistakes
The textbook gives us structure, but the textbook isn’t our only source of English.
We also use authentic texts, audio and video content, current topics and examples of the English you’ll actually hear and use outside the classroom.
SPEAKING LAB
Once a week × 60 minutes
Knowing English and speaking English are two different things.
That’s why every English Academy student gets an additional weekly Speaking Lab.
There is no traditional teaching during this session.
You speak – your teacher guides you, helps you and gives you feedback.
During Speaking Lab, we work with:
- debates
- role plays
- storytelling
- real-life situations
- problem-solving activities
- conversation simulations
- vocabulary challenges
- pronunciation
- spontaneous speaking
One week you might be taking part in a job interview, the next you could be solving a problem at an airport, and the week after that you might be defending your opinion in a debate.
The goal is to stop simply thinking about what you know and start using what you know.
ENGLISH HUB
Your English between classes.
It’s difficult to truly learn a language if you only use it for a few hours each week.
That’s why every group gets access to its own English Hub – an online learning space designed to keep you in contact with English between your live lessons.
Throughout the week, you’ll receive short and practical activities such as:
Vocabulary Drop – useful words, expressions and collocations
Grammar Fix – quick explanations of common mistakes
Speak Up – short activities designed to activate your speaking skills
Pronunciation Minute – pronunciation practice for words and expressions learners often find difficult
English in Real Life – authentic examples of English used in everyday situations
We don’t want to overwhelm you with materials you’ll never have time to open.
Most activities take just 5–10 minutes, but they help make English a regular part of your everyday life.
What does a typical week look like?

This means you don’t simply get three identical lessons.
You get a combination of structured learning + active speaking + continuous practice.

Studium English Academy follows the international CEFR framework, from beginner A1 to advanced C1.
Every programme includes Live Classes, Speaking Lab, English Hub, additional learning materials and progress tracking.

Tuition is paid monthly throughout the duration of the programme.
Your monthly tuition includes:
2 Live Classes per week + weekly Speaking Lab + English Hub + additional digital learning materials + Progress Checks + final assessment.
There is no additional fee for Speaking Lab or access to the English Hub – everything is included in your English Academy programme.
The total number of live learning hours is approximate and may vary slightly depending on the calendar, public holidays and the starting date of each group.

Your progress should be more than just a feeling.
“I think my English is better than it used to be” isn’t enough.
That’s why Progress Checks are an integral part of the programme.
Through short assessments, we monitor your progress in:
- grammar
- vocabulary
- listening and comprehension
- speaking
- fluency
- pronunciation
This allows you to understand what you’ve already mastered, where you’re still making mistakes and what you should focus on next.
At the end of your level, you’ll complete a final assessment and receive a recommendation for the next stage of your learning journey.
English in Real Life
English from a textbook is important.
But it isn’t enough.
Throughout the Academy programme, you’ll also experience English as it’s actually used in the real world.
We won’t teach you only:
“How are you?” – “I’m fine, thank you.”
We’ll help you understand and use expressions you’ll hear in real conversations, at work, while travelling, in films, podcasts and everyday communication.
We place particular emphasis on:
collocations • phrasal verbs • everyday expressions • pronunciation • natural English • speaking confidence
Our goal is to help you gradually stop translating sentences word for word and start expressing yourself more naturally in English.
Small groups. More opportunities to speak.
The number of students in each group is limited.
Why?
Because a Speaking Lab doesn’t make much sense if there are so many students that everyone only gets the opportunity to say two sentences.
Working in smaller groups allows your teacher to get to know you, monitor your progress and identify the mistakes you make repeatedly.
And most importantly, it gives you what you probably came here for:
more opportunities to speak English.
I’m not sure what my English level is.
You don’t have to assess your level yourself.
Before joining a group, we can arrange a level assessment to determine which group best matches your current knowledge.
This is particularly important if you’ve studied English before but haven’t used it for a while.
We don’t want to place you in a programme that’s too easy.
And we don’t want to place you in one that’s unnecessarily difficult either.
We want to find the right starting point for you.
