Individual and Semi-Individual Lessons

All you need to do to start individual or semi-individual lessons is fill out the form. After doing that, you’ll hear from the instructor to set up an appointment for a free consult via Zoom where you will do a test and make a lesson plan. The purpose of this consult is for you to meet the instructor and clearly define your goals for progress. Here you may choose your instructor, provided that they have available time slots. If they don’t, we will offer an alternative instructor.

The price of an individual lesson is 20€ and it is 60 minutes. You may book 5, 10, 15, 20 or 30 lessons. Payment on a lesson-by-lesson basis is not available. The price of semi- individual lessons depends on the number of participants. If there are two participants, the price is 10€ per person. If there are three, it’s 9€, and if there are four then it’s 8€. You also book 5, 10, 15, 20 or 30 lessons, and all participants must book the same number of lessons to avoid organizational issues down the line.

If you book 5 lessons, you can use them within a maximum of one month. You can use 10 lessons within 6 weeks, 15 lessons within 2 months; and if you book 20 or 30 lessons, you make a plan with the instructor and you must complete them within 5 months. It is not possible to stretch out the lessons over a longer period of time as we truly have many participants and it’s not fair to hold up time slots that aren’t being used. Please read the next question and answer carefully for our cooperation to be as effective as possible.

If the instructor cancels a lesson, they must inform the participant of an alternative time slot as soon as possible and adjust accordingly. If you cancel a lesson, you have to do it 24 hours in advance, or you forfeit the lesson. We will tolerate one emergency situation where you were unable to call ahead and reschedule your lesson without forfeiting. The goal is to respect each other’s time.

If you want to have semi-individual lessons with a friend or a partner of your choice, you just need to let us know and we’ll organize a lesson just for you. On the other hand, if semi-individual lessons suit you better but you don’t have a partner, fill out the form and if we have another participant at your level, we’ll put you together and make a group.

The class is held via Zoom, and it is also recorded and you will receive the recording and all the materials on your email. You will also get instructions for Zoom to help you navigate. You have to familiarize itself with how the app works before you start the lesson.

Let’s be punctual. Instructors arrive on time and cancel lessons at least 24 hours in advance. You should do the same, or forfeit the lesson. We make an exception for emergencies and we always accommodate them. Let’s not abuse this option.

You communicate with the instructor via Viber. You can always ask about any doubts, but please be mindful to write at a reasonable hour and avoid weekends unless there is an emergency.
