Improve Your Vocabulary Email Program — Level 2

Improve Your Vocabulary, Level 2 is a program I designed for those of you who havecompleted Level 1 and want to take the challenge of vocabulary acquisition to the next level.

Level 2 is organized so that you’ll also be learning new phrases and constructions in addition to standard vocabulary, through small everyday phrases and dialogue for you to translate. I’ve made an effort to cover a wide range of topics from everyday life and make sure that everything you learn is applicable as soon as today.

This email program is for those of you who are a little lazy to devote yourselves to learning new words, and are at level A2 or above.

What’s the goal? The goal is for you to translate 5 short texts (19 sentences) or dialogues of the same length. This should take you about 15 minutes, and I don’t even need to emphasize how much success you’ll have with your vocabulary. Translation is the most powerful tool we have to truly master a language.

Every weekday, you will receive a document in PDF from me including:

A short 10-sentence text in our language that needs to be translated, which may be a dialogue or a classic text

An answer key, i.e. my own German translation of the same text for you to check yours against it and improve your vocabulary and your sentence structure

At the end of the month, we’ll do a quiz to check on your learning. The quiz is online and interactive. It will include translation and using the words in context. We’ll also have a private Facebook group where we can practice together. The price of the program is 140e and includes 4 months of the program. At the end of the program, you should know as many as 500 new words and 100 useful phrases. Details about payment methods and the start of the program are provided in the form description.
